A new layout was introduced in 2017 to ensure the safe separation of horses from the public and the Show Committee suspended some horse classes to test this.

Evaluation of the new layout showed it was fit for purpose and welcomed by competitors, officials, traders and the public. Our insurers and health and safety officer were pleased and we are now able to build the show for the future.

The 2018 show will only include show jumping, gymkhana and mounted fancy dress.

The Show Committee has regrettably decided to cancel other horse classes because the private field used for car parking is no longer available.  A compressed show layout will allow up to 400 cars to be parked on the showground.

The Parish Council own Holme Meadow and have given permission for a third gate to allow showground parking. A shortage of volunteers means we have to hire a company to manage parking resulting in a £2 car parking charge to contribute towards the costs. North Lincolnshire Council will again suspend car parking on Holme Lane.

In response to feedback FREE activities on 3 June include face painting, magician / clown, punch and judy, four stunt cycle shows and grandstand entry.
